Kamloops is a city of ~90,000 people, and is CanCON’s most northern site in BC. The CanCON site is hosted at Thompson Rivers University by Dr. Joanne Rosvick, who is an Associate Professor of physics and astronomy at TRU. Her past research has involved star formation and stellar evolution in open star clusters. She was invited to join the RECON project by Terry Bridges in the summer of 2021 and is in the process of acquiring equipment and getting set up to participate!
