The Sisters, OR site is associated with Sisters High School and Sisters Astronomy Club.

RECON is important to Sisters because it gives them an opportunity to contribute to learning new information about unknown asteroids while learning about astronomy in context and in deeper ways, as well as learning and practicing technical skills. They value being a part of a bigger discovery team and collaborating with other communities and connecting with researchers. They also love the conferences, the learning, and connections that come with these experiences. “We are excited to get together around the purpose of discovery and learning. We love learning about the stars, the adventure of the events, the bonding and the learning as well as being a part of something bigger than ourselves.” Some of their favorite RECON memories include the events, the conferences, the collaboration, learning new skills and knowledge.
